Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when payments, deposits, service charges, replacement-part costs, and other amounts may or may not be eligible for a refund. It is intended to help customers understand the conditions that apply to cancellations, approved repairs, completed services, special-order parts, and other payment-related situations.
Effective Date: January 18, 2013
Last Updated: July 24, 2026
1. General Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on the type of service provided, the stage of the repair process, the expenses already incurred, and whether work, diagnostics, labor, or parts have already been supplied. Payments are not automatically refundable simply because a customer changes their mind, decides not to proceed, or no longer needs the service after work has begun. When a refund is appropriate, the amount may be reduced by any applicable diagnostic fees, labor charges, payment-processing costs, shipping expenses, special-order parts, or other nonrecoverable costs that were reasonably incurred in connection with the service.
2. Diagnostic and Service Charges
Diagnostic fees, inspection charges, consultation fees, and other service charges cover time, testing, technical evaluation, and resources used to assess a device or provide assistance. These charges are generally nonrefundable once the evaluation or service has begun, even when the customer decides not to proceed with the recommended repair. When a diagnostic charge is credited toward an approved repair, the credit applies only under the terms communicated at the time of service and does not create a separate cash-refund entitlement.
3. Replacement Parts and Special Orders
Payments made for replacement parts, special-order components, custom items, shipping, handling, or supplier-related expenses may be nonrefundable once the order has been placed or the cost has been incurred. Refund eligibility may also be limited when a part has been installed, tested, opened, programmed, modified, or otherwise prepared for a specific device. If a supplier accepts a return, any refund may be reduced by restocking fees, return-shipping costs, payment-processing charges, or other deductions imposed by the supplier. Parts that are defective or covered by a warranty may be repaired, replaced, or handled under the applicable warranty terms rather than refunded.
4. Approved Repairs and Completed Services
Once a repair has been approved and work has begun, refunds may be limited because labor, technical expertise, replacement parts, testing, and other resources have already been committed to the service. Completed repairs, successfully performed services, and work that has been carried out as authorized are generally not eligible for a refund simply because the customer no longer wants the repair, changes their mind, replaces the device, or decides not to continue using it. If a problem related to the completed repair is reported within the applicable warranty period, it will be addressed under the terms of the warranty rather than through a refund unless otherwise required by law or agreed to in writing.
5. Cancellations Before Work Begins
A customer may request cancellation before diagnostic work, repair labor, part installation, remote support, or another approved service has begun. When no work has been performed and no nonrecoverable expense has been incurred, the payment may be eligible for a full or partial refund. Any refund may be reduced by payment-processing charges, cancellation fees disclosed in advance, shipping expenses, supplier costs, or other amounts that cannot reasonably be recovered. Once work has started or a part has been ordered, the cancellation will be handled under the applicable sections of this Refund Policy.
6. Deposits and Advance Payments
Deposits and advance payments may be required to reserve service time, order parts, begin specialized work, or cover anticipated expenses. These amounts may become nonrefundable once labor has been scheduled, parts have been ordered, materials have been purchased, or other costs have been committed. When only part of a deposit has been used, any remaining eligible balance may be refunded after applicable charges and nonrecoverable expenses are deducted. The refundability of a deposit depends on the purpose for which it was collected and the stage of the service at the time cancellation is requested.
7. Refund Method and Processing Time
Approved refunds will generally be issued using the same payment method originally used for the transaction unless another method is mutually agreed upon or required by applicable law. The time needed for a refund to appear depends on the payment provider, financial institution, credit card issuer, or other processing service involved, and may extend beyond the date the refund is approved. Any processing fees, currency conversion charges, banking delays, or similar costs imposed by third parties are outside our control and are not included in the refund amount unless otherwise required by law.
8. Disputed Charges and Payment Reversals
Customers should contact us directly before initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, or other reversal so the matter can be reviewed and an appropriate resolution can be considered. Filing a dispute does not automatically cancel amounts owed for diagnostics, labor, parts, shipping, completed work, or other authorized services. Documentation related to the transaction, including estimates, approvals, invoices, communications, service records, and proof of delivery or completion, may be provided to the payment processor or financial institution when responding to a disputed charge. Any unpaid balance that remains valid after the dispute process may continue to be due.
9. Exceptions Required by Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any refund, cancellation, warranty, or consumer right that cannot legally be waived or restricted. When applicable law requires a refund, replacement, correction, or other remedy, the matter will be handled in accordance with those legal requirements. Any provision of this policy that conflicts with mandatory law will apply only to the extent legally permitted, while the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
10. Changes to This Refund Policy
This Refund Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in services, payment practices, business procedures, legal requirements, or other relevant circumstances. Any revised version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Changes will apply from the date they are published unless a different effective date is stated. Customers are encouraged to review this policy periodically so they remain aware of the terms that apply to refunds, cancellations, deposits, and service-related payments.
11. Contact Information
